SkillSelect is supporting the Australian Government in managing who can apply for skilled migration, and also helping address regional skill shortages. SkillSelect allows intending migrants to indicate if they are willing to live and work in regional Australia.
Step 1: Assess your Skilled Visa options
Step 2: Obtain a positive Skills Assessment in your nominated occupation
Step 3: Complete an IELTS English test or OET test
Step 4: Lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) through Skills Select system
Step 5: Apply for State Sponsorship to your chosen State or Territory (if applicable)
Step 6: Receive an Invitation and Apply for Skilled Migration
Once being invited by EOI system, applicant can accept the invitation by lodging application for a skilled visa online and upload supporting documents for your visa to be assessed and granted.
